FounderMag is a publication first — readers should be able to get to the information they need regardless of how they browse the web. We aim to meet WCAG 2.1 Level AA as our baseline standard and treat accessibility as an ongoing part of how we build the Site, not a one-time checklist.
What we do
- Semantic HTML structure (headings, lists, landmarks) so screen readers and other assistive technology can navigate articles correctly.
- Descriptive alt text on cover images and product logos.
- Keyboard-operable navigation, including the theme toggle and menus, without requiring a mouse.
- A light and dark theme, both checked for sufficient color contrast against our text and background colors.
- Readable type sizes and line lengths in article bodies, rather than dense, cramped text blocks.
Known limitations
Some older articles or embedded third-party content (for example, a screenshot from a product we're reviewing) may not yet meet every guideline. We prioritize fixes as we find them or as readers report them, and every new page we ship is checked against this standard before publishing.
